SING AND DANCE
AROUND THE WORLD
WITH MRS. mOLINA
the program
Sing and Dance Around the World with Mrs. Molina is a lively, 30-minute early-childhood music program designed for children ages 2–6. Blending joyful movement with multicultural learning, this interactive session invites little ones to explore the world through song, rhythm, and imagination. Children sing familiar favorites alongside simple songs in foreign languages including Spanish and Mandarin Chinese, giving them an accessible and playful introduction to global languages.
Each session is structured to support key developmental domains. Through call-and-response singing, echo patterns, and rhythmic play, children strengthen auditory discrimination, phonological awareness, and early language acquisition skills. Movement-based activities—such as circle dances, action songs, and guided improvisation—promote gross-motor coordination, body awareness, and self-regulation. Musical games encourage turn-taking, social cooperation, and confidence-building as children participate at whatever level feels right for them.
Mrs. Molina, a classically trained singer and licensed music educator, creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere where every child can shine. The multicultural repertoire sparks curiosity and broadens cultural understanding, helping children practice listening to unfamiliar sounds, pronouncing new words, and building the foundations for future bilingualism. Simple props—such as shakers, scarves, or rhythm sticks—capture attention and support sensory processing and fine-motor development.
The program’s pacing is intentionally gentle and flexible, keeping young children engaged while allowing space for creativity and self-expression. Families and caregivers are encouraged to join the fun, reinforcing connection and shared musical joy.
Perfect for libraries, community centers, and educational settings, Sing and Dance Around the World with Mrs. Molina offers a research-supported, play-based experience that nurtures early literacy, cultural awareness, and the pure delight of making music together.
