PAN ASIAN music initiative
About the initiative
The goal of the Pan Asian Music Initiative is to bring art songs by Asian composers to a wider audience. Many of these works have not yet been performed in the West. The repertoire will mainly include works composed within the last 100 years. The project will include performances, collaborations, and recordings, building bridges through music.

Expecting to become a lotus flower
等待着成为一朵红莲
Mallory Molina, Voice
Dr. Patricio Molina, Piano
Poem and Music: Lin Hua, 林华
English Translation
I sit quietly by the fresh water
In the expectation of becoming a lotus flower
To be cleansed of earthly traits in the sprinkle
And to stand in the eternal landscape
Ah, blessing the fantasies of living creatures
I'm expecting to become a lotus flower.
